Thrilling Criminal Pursuits Unveiled in 'Hyungsooda' Season 2
The gripping tales of criminal pursuits are set to unfold in Season 2 of 'Hyungsooda'.

On October 13th at 7 PM, the E-channel original web variety show 'Hyungsooda' Season 2 (hereafter 'Hyungsooda2') will air its 28th episode on the YouTube channel 'Detectives' Chat'. This episode features detectives Kim Jin-sung and Kim Nam-il. Kim Jin-sung, who recently wrapped up filming for 'Brave Detectives 4', joins 'Hyungsooda2', drawing attention with his intriguing stories. He teases a special behind-the-scenes story related to a phone number ending in '112', saying, "This shouldn't be revealed."

Kim Jin-sung, who always dreamed of being a detective, shares, "There's a dopamine rush in catching criminals," to which Kwon Il-yong agrees, comparing it to the thrill of scoring a goal. Kim Nam-il, who played as a defensive midfielder, humorously admits, "I haven't scored many goals," prompting Ahn Jung-hwan to jest, "Kim Nam-il hasn't experienced that thrill." The two engage in a playful banter, showcasing their 'national team tiki-taka'.

Kim Jin-sung reveals a harrowing incident where his life was endangered while apprehending a criminal. The case began in 2018 with reports of a woman being kidnapped and released, followed by a report of a burning vehicle. The woman testified that a man threatened her with a knife, forced her into a car, drove to a remote location, injected her with drugs, and sexually assaulted her. The victim tested positive for methamphetamine, and the burnt vehicle was identified as a stolen car used in the kidnapping.

Through reverse tracking, detectives pinpointed the suspect's residence. Background checks revealed him as a repeat offender and gang member who had spent most of his life in prison. He used three mobile phones to manipulate his location, complicating the investigation. While staking out near his girlfriend's location, detectives spotted him meeting someone. Recognizing him by a mole under his ear, Kim Jin-sung attempted to arrest him by cuffing one hand. However, the 120kg suspect quickly overpowered the detective, creating chaos.

Kim Jin-sung, demonstrating quick thinking, managed to call 112 with one hand while subduing the suspect. Reinforcements from the local police station arrived, and the situation was resolved. Ahn Jung-hwan expressed amazement, calling it a "legendary case."

Additionally, Kwon Il-yong introduces the notorious case of Noh Young-dae, described as "infamous by name alone." In 2012, a man broke into a house shared by sisters, committed sexual assault, and fled. CCTV footage revealed the suspect climbing the exterior wall and entering through a balcony window. That evening, another break-in was reported in a nearby building, where the suspect entered a middle school boy's room, uttered, "Oh? Is this the wrong place?" and fled. The suspect was identified as Noh Young-dae.

Targeting the sisters' home, the suspect prepared tools and attempted to destroy evidence with tape, moving only in areas without CCTV coverage to hinder the investigation. However, a single drop of bodily fluid found on the victim's clothing led to his capture. Yet, three days after his arrest, Noh Young-dae escaped by removing one handcuff, adding another twist to the case. The relentless pursuit and clever tactics of legendary detectives can be witnessed in 'Hyungsooda2'.
