'Single's Inferno' Confirms Production of Season 6: A New Chapter in Korean Reality TV
On the 12th, Netflix announced, "'Single's Inferno' will be the first Korean variety show to produce a sixth season," and released a new poster.
'Single's Inferno' is a candid and fiery dating reality show set on a deserted island, known as 'Inferno Island,' where participants must become a couple to escape. The first season made history by entering the global TOP 10 TV (non-English) category, followed by the second season, which remained in the same category for four consecutive weeks. Season 3 reached the pinnacle of its popularity by dominating the global TOP 10 for five weeks and appearing in the TOP 10 lists of 31 countries.
Season 4 recorded the highest viewing hours in its first week. The production team, known for their expertise in creating captivating content, received rave reviews for Season 5, which was described as 'unprecedented.' It showcased its strength as the 'absolute powerhouse' of dating reality shows by securing the second spot in the global TOP 10 non-English category.
Anticipation is high for the sixth season of 'Single's Inferno.' The show's appeal lies in its intense emotional clashes, honest flirting, and unpredictable relationship dynamics, offering viewers a more dramatic experience than a movie. The captivating singles are the driving force behind its popularity. Fans are eager to see which 'unprecedented' singles will heat up the 'hottest' inferno in Season 6. The evolved chemistry of the 'Love Master' 5MCs—Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun, Hanhae, and Dex—who have honed their sharp reactions through the emotional rollercoaster of Season 5, is also highly anticipated.
Producers Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun, and Park Soo-ji expressed their gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the unwavering support of our fans, we are able to start a new season. We will listen to our fans' feedback to make 'Single's Inferno' even hotter." Their statement has heightened expectations for the sixth season.
