Shin Hae-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk Reunite After 9 Years in Netflix's 'The Art of Sarah'
On the 10th, a press conference for the Netflix series 'The Art of Sarah' was held at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul. Attendees included actors ShinHae-sun, Lee Jun-hyuk, and director Kim Jin-min.
'The Art of Sarah' tells the story of 'Sarah Kim'(사라킴), a woman who desires to be a luxury brand even if it's fake, and 'Moo-kyung'(무경), a man who tracks her ambitions. Shin Hae-sun plays 'Sarah Kim', the enigmatic head of the Asian branch of the top 0.1% brand 'Boudoir'(부두아), while Lee Jun-hyuk portrays 'Moo-kyung', a detective who uncovers the truth behind her facade.
Director Kim Jin-min described 'The Art of Sarah' as a drama about human desires, filled with characters chasing their ambitions and those pursuing them. He encouraged viewers to explore their own desires through the series.
Shin Hae-sun recalled her early career days during 'Stranger', describing Lee Jun-hyuk as a significant mentor. She noted the natural chemistry and trust that developed over time, making their reunion seamless.
She added that Lee Jun-hyuk's focus during scenes made her feel supported, likening their relationship to distant yet close relatives.
He described the filming environment as stressful yet constructive, with each scene feeling like a mission. The tension and stress experienced on set naturally aligned with his character's journey.
Recalling a pivotal scene with Shin Hae-sun, Lee Jun-hyuk shared the emotional impact of their characters' meeting, highlighting the complex emotions that surfaced.
He concluded by reflecting on the intense yet rewarding experience, noting the positive memories that remain.
The Netflix series 'The Art of Sarah' premieres on the 13th.
