Seo Jang-hoon shared his candid thoughts on dating dilemmas during a recent episode of KBS Joy's variety show 'Ask Anything'.

On the October 9th broadcast of the show's 351st episode, a 31-year-old UI/UX designer appeared seeking advice on why he struggles with dating.

The guest revealed, "I haven't been in a relationship for six years and have only dated twice in my life." His first relationship ended after two months during college, and his second, a two-year relationship with a younger girlfriend, ended due to her losing interest.

In his quest for love, the guest shared his efforts, including participating in over ten speed dating events and meeting around 200 people, yet failing to find a match. He avoids habits like drinking, smoking, nightlife, social media, and tattoos, which he believes women dislike, and maintains a disciplined lifestyle. Lee Soo-geun expressed surprise, noting, "He looks neat, so why isn't it working?"

The guest also mentioned highlighting his financial status, noting he has saved about 100 million KRW and could access up to 400 million KRW with parental support, but this too had no effect. Lee Soo-geun remarked, "A good job doesn't make up for a lack of personal appeal," emphasizing that charm is more important than conditions.

Having attended various gatherings and parties, the guest speculated that his lack of double eyelids might be a factor, but the hosts disagreed with this narrow view. Seo Jang-hoon advised against fixating on physical traits, noting, "Many popular actors have double eyelids."

Seo Jang-hoon identified the guest's main issue as a 'lack of a distinct charm'. He explained, "There's nothing bad, but also nothing particularly attractive," and suggested developing qualities that are noticeable even before meeting someone. He encouraged continuous self-improvement through activities like exercise and career achievements.

In response to Lee Soo-geun's suggestion of a public proposal, the guest stated, "I avoid things women dislike and can adapt to their preferences. Please reach out. I'd love to treat you to a nice meal."
