Song Eun-yi Reveals Yoo Jae-suk's Rookie Days on SBS's 'Anytime'

Song Eun-yi (53) spills the beans on Yoo Jae-suk's (53) early career days.

On the upcoming episode of SBS's variety show 'Anytime,' airing on the 10th, hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok are joined by comedians Song Eun-yi and Kim Sook as they visit the 'Anytime' hosts in Sangam-dong.

Song Eun-yi and Kim Sook, who are known to be Yoo Jae-suk's close friends for over 30 years, bring laughter with their playful banter. Yoo Jae-suk greets Song Eun-yi with the nickname “Song Saru~,” to which she responds with a hearty, “If it's Senior Metuk, I have to come!” Kim Sook introduces herself humorously, saying, “In the morning, I'm Jo Jjaezu, and in the evening, I'm Jeon Hyun-moo,” causing everyone to burst into laughter.

Yoo Yeon-seok teases Song Eun-yi and Kim Sook, saying they remind him of top variety show writers, prompting the duo to effortlessly pull him into their comedic skit. Yoo Yeon-seok finds himself swept up in the comedic antics of the 'Three Comedians' Yoo Jae-suk, Song Eun-yi, and Kim Sook, even showcasing a comedic catchphrase and calling Kim Sook “Hyung!” much to the amusement of the group.

Song Eun-yi captures attention by revealing a story from Yoo Jae-suk's rookie days. She shares, “Back when Jae-suk was nominated for the Rookie Award, he bought two 'Dolce & Gabbana' suits but ended up winning nothing.” Yoo Jae-suk laments, “I struggled to pay off the installments back then,” to which Song Eun-yi sympathetically adds, “You never had luck on your side,” evoking a bittersweet laugh. Song Eun-yi also highlights their unique friendship, mentioning, “Recently, Jae-suk won the Grand Prize for the first time in 33 years, and Sook cried her eyes out.”

Yoo Jae-suk's competitive spirit is ignited with the appearance of his longtime friends Song Eun-yi and Kim Sook. Before a game, Yoo Jae-suk confidently declares, “I'll show you what I've got this time,” but his opponents are none other than his 30-year friends who have witnessed countless of his game moments. Song Eun-yi humorously counters his confidence with, “What? Are you going to show us your front teeth?” showcasing their seamless chemistry.
