Hamsowon's Mother Expresses Frustration Over Daughter's Co-habitation with Ex-Husband
On the October 7th episode of MBN's 'Dongchimi', the theme 'Once More, Even If We Hate' was explored, revealing Hamsowon's story.
Hamsowon confessed that she had been living in Vietnam for a year with her ex-husband Jin-hwa, their daughter Hye-jung, and her own mother after the divorce. She shared, "I was accustomed to life in Vietnam, but it was the first time for my mother and Jin-hwa," adding, "When I went out, the atmosphere at home was cold with just the two of them there."
She continued, "If they said they broke up, they should end it. If he was someone who could change, he would have changed by now." She also expressed concern for her granddaughter, saying, "If they are going to fight, one should hold back, but they are both the same. This will confuse Hye-jung."
She added, "Whenever I ask why Hye-jung looks upset, she always says they fought. It's heartbreaking to see a child grow up watching her parents fight."
In response, Hamsowon stated her intention to foster good habits and improve the relationship, but her mother criticized, "If that's the case, you should guide him gently, not fight."
