Actor Kim Seung-soo (54) has firmly addressed the rumors about his sexual orientation.

On the October 5th episode of KBS2's variety show 'Problem Child in House,' actors Kim Seung-soo and So Yi-hyun appeared as guests.

During the show, Kim Seung-soo spoke about the 'married man' rumors, saying, “After showing my single life on variety shows, the misunderstanding has lessened, but in the past, 99% of people thought I was married. They even assumed I had grown-up children. If I was out late drinking, elders would scold me, thinking my wife and kids were waiting for me.”

He continued, “Sometimes, while having drinks, female acquaintances might join us. If a senior or acquaintance asks me to introduce them to someone, the women would get serious, thinking I was being encouraged to cheat.”

Kim Seung-soo also expressed his frustration over recent 'gay rumors.' He recalled, “I want to make it clear here. Since I've been single for a long time, a male fan once wrote to me, saying, ‘Hyung, I understand you. You can confide in me,’ asking if I was considering coming out.” Kim Seung-soo emphasized, “Absolutely not. I love women the most in the world.”

Kim Seung-soo revealed that he has been single for 16 years, saying, “I haven't dated since 2010. This is how I've been living.” He added, “After a drama ended, I was interviewed, and since I was older, there were many questions about marriage. Someone suggested I propose publicly via email, so I jokingly responded, but the article came out saying I was proposing publicly. Surprisingly, I received over 100 emails in an hour. I had to send clarification emails to each one. Recently, the public proposal article resurfaced, and I received more emails. It's over now.”

Regarding his marriage dreams, Kim Seung-soo said, “I want a zero-cost wedding. I don't want to burden anyone with wedding gifts.” He also mentioned that out of his two properties, one would belong to his future wife.
