Actress Chae Jung-an Spreads Kindness Through Generous Donation and Volunteer Work
On November 3rd, Chae Jung-an donated 10 million KRW to the non-profit organization 'Wiki Korea' to support marginalized communities and personally participated in volunteer activities.
The donation will be used for 'Wikit Delivery' and the establishment of educational centers aimed at helping at-risk youth, young adults preparing for independence, and single mothers. Chae Jung-an expressed her desire to provide practical support to those in need by funding the production of 'Wikit Boxes,' which support the livelihood of 150 people each month.
Chae Jung-an didn't stop there; she visited the preparation site for the Wikit Boxes, which are to be delivered before the Lunar New Year, and assisted volunteers in making holiday meals. Her active participation in volunteer work reflects her deep interest in sharing and giving back to the community.
Regarding her involvement, Chae Jung-an shared, "I wanted to provide practical help to those in need, even in a small way, which is why I participated in the donation and volunteer work. Filling the 'Wikit Boxes' myself was a meaningful experience that allowed me to reflect on the significance of sharing."
'Wiki Korea,' the organization Chae Jung-an donated to, was established in 2023 and focuses on supporting young adults preparing for independence and others in need of social protection.
Chae Jung-an is also showcasing her talents as the host of the tvN variety show 'My Secret Butterfly Effect,' which airs every Friday at 9 AM, living up to her reputation as an 'icon of self-care.'
