Epic Sea Hunt Unfolds in Indonesia on 'Chef and Hunter'

Tonight, Channel A's 'Chef and Hunter' will showcase an epic sea hunt in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia.

In this episode, the hunters embark on a 'nightmare overnight tuna fishing' adventure in Labuan Bajo. They take on the challenge of traditional handline fishing, using only a fishing line without a rod, and must catch squid for bait themselves, adding to the harsh conditions. As the team grows weary from the lack of bites, determined hunter Lim Woo-il comes up with an ingenious solution. What mysterious tool does he pick up after abandoning the fishing line to catch bait squid, and will he succeed? The suspense builds.

In the pitch-black darkness, Kyung Soo-jin experiences a powerful tug on her line. With the line taut and the weight almost unbearable, she senses it's the biggest catch of her life. The intense struggle lasts 30 minutes, with 'hunting leader' Choo Sung-hoon joining in. When the over 2-meter-long 'monster fish' finally surfaces, chaos erupts on the boat. Even the veteran local hunters are astonished by the identity of the 'deep-sea apex predator,' which will be revealed in the broadcast.

Additionally, wild head chef Edward Lee introduces a groundbreaking 'primitive recipe,' setting a new paradigm for wild gastronomy. Without using modern cooking tools like frying pans, he crafts exquisite flavors using only natural elements like stones, wood, and grass.
