Jo In-sung Opens Up About Acting, Life, and Personal Growth
In the video released on the 4th, Jo, who stars in the upcoming film 'Humint' set to premiere on February 11, reflected on his approach to acting, stating, "Working on projects was survival for me." He added, "In the past, I felt that if a project was poorly received, my life could disappear," revealing the pressure he felt. Despite gaining more composure over the years, Jo emphasized that his sense of responsibility towards his work remains unchanged.
Jo also touched on human relationships, highlighting the importance of 'distance' when interacting with juniors and staff. He explained, "While helping is important, I first observe. Approaching someone who hasn't asked for help can be intrusive." His careful yet responsible approach resonated with viewers.
In a light-hearted segment, Jo revealed more about himself through everyday questions. He candidly admitted, "I've never used shoe lifts," "I've lost to someone in looks," and "I've smiled at myself in the mirror," sharing insights into his habits and routines.
Jo also confessed to changing the channel when his scenes appear on TV, explaining, "It feels like being on trial," recalling the anxiety and tension of awaiting results, shedding light on the hidden insecurities behind the glamour.
Describing himself as 'ordinary,' Jo explained, "Being ordinary is quite extraordinary. It signifies accumulated experiences and the wisdom gained from them," prompting nods of agreement.
Finally, when asked what he would say to himself in 2026, Jo humorously replied, "I have nothing to say." He added, "Living faithfully will lead to 2027 and beyond. It feels sentimental," drawing laughter.
