'Can't Do It Alone' Moves to New Time Slot After Low Ratings

The JTBC variety show 'Can't Do It Alone' has been struggling with ratings, recording 0% for three consecutive weeks. In response, the show will take a two-week break and return with a new time slot, moving from 10:30 PM to 8:50 PM.

On the episode aired on the 3rd, 'Can't Do It Alone' featured 'Trend Man' Jun Hyun-moo leading Choo Sung-hoon, Lee Soo-ji, and Lee Se-hee on a trip to Shanghai, China. The group explored the city's trendy spots, showcasing their chemistry and humor. The episode recorded a 0.9% viewership rating.

Jun Hyun-moo, an experienced Shanghai traveler, guided the members through the city's hot spots, displaying his 'brainy' side. The members were captivated by the views of Pudong and the Bund, capturing memories with their cameras.

The group visited a restaurant that preserved its traditional charm, featuring artworks by the respected Chinese artist and monk, Hong Yi. The unique dishes themed around music and art were a feast for the senses.

Musical performances before and after the meal impressed the members, with Lee Soo-ji surprising everyone with a piano performance and a live rendition of a classic song. Jun Hyun-moo joined in, harmonizing with the singer.

The members then headed to Nanjing East Road, a hub of Shanghai's hot spots. Lee Soo-ji's self-promotion as a star amused the crowd, while Choo Sung-hoon was recognized by local fans.

After an impromptu fan meeting with 'Global Uncle' Choo Sung-hoon, the group enjoyed street food at a food court. Lee Se-hee, known for her adventurous palate, tried scorpion and grasshopper skewers.

As their departure time approached, Jun Hyun-moo led the group to a futuristic-themed restaurant for a final meal. The innovative plating inspired Lee Se-hee to take numerous photos, capturing the MZ generation's aesthetic.

After seeing the members off, Jun Hyun-moo enjoyed the Shanghai nightscape alone, reflecting on the day's adventures. The stunning views of Pudong and the Bund left a lasting impression, and he sent a photo to his fellow travelers as a memento of their trip.

'Can't Do It Alone' will be on hiatus on the 10th and 17th due to the '2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics' broadcast. The show will resume on the 24th, airing every Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
