The stars who led the golden era of Korean variety shows have touched viewers' hearts by revealing their hidden struggles and deep admiration for their colleagues.

On the YouTube channel 'Jo Dong Ari,' operated by Ji Suk-jin, Kim Yong-man, and Kim Soo-yong, a video titled 'The Reason Why 'Hawasoo' Has Lasted 30 Years: Choosing Between Broadcasting and the Restaurant Business?' was uploaded.

In the video, Kim Yong-man, Ji Suk-jin, and Kim Soo-yong reflect on their tumultuous broadcasting careers with guest Jung Joon-ha. Kim Yong-man expressed admiration for Jung Joon-ha's charcoal portrait of Yoo Jae-suk, which he presented at an MBC 'Hangout with Yoo' fan meeting, highlighting the dedication involved in the intricate technique of drawing it upside down.

Jung Joon-ha revealed that he spent three hours daily on the artwork, confessing, "Even with a mask, the charcoal dust was so intense that I coughed up black phlegm," hinting at the arduous time hidden behind his artistic passion. When Ji Suk-jin asked about Yoo Jae-suk's reaction, Jung Joon-ha shared that Yoo Jae-suk was moved to tears, adding, "It was a time when Yoo Jae-suk was going through emotional distress due to public scrutiny, which made him even more emotional," proving their strong bond.

Jung Joon-ha also candidly discussed the psychological struggles and retirement rumors he faced after the end of 'Infinite Challenge.' Recalling when Yoo Jae-suk visited the Apgujeong area near Jung Joon-ha's business for 'You Quiz on the Block,' Jung Joon-ha confessed, "We weren't on bad terms, but I hid because I was afraid my business appearance would seem shabby." Revealing his desperate desire to be forgotten by the public, Jung Joon-ha clarified that the retirement rumors were unfounded, explaining that his refusal of several programs had been misunderstood.

It was also revealed that his connection with national MC Yoo Jae-suk was a crucial support in Jung Joon-ha's broadcasting career. Jung Joon-ha recalled the early days of 'Infinite Challenge,' when he was hurt by Park Myung-soo's harsh comedic style and considered quitting. He remembered the painful times when he couldn't even use the waiting room comfortably and had to sit on the hallway floor for meetings. In a car passing Dongjak Bridge, he confided in Yoo Jae-suk, "I can't continue because I don't mesh with Park Myung-soo," but Yoo Jae-suk encouraged him to endure for just a month, holding his hand, which ultimately helped him reach his current position, for which he repeatedly expressed gratitude.
