Hamsowon and Ex-Husband Jin-hwa Face Unexpected Challenges Amidst Reunion Efforts

Hamsowon and her ex-husband Jin-hwa are currently living together, but Jin-hwa has revealed that he has been approached for a matchmaking meeting.

On the October 31st episode of MBN's 'Dongchimi', Hamsowon's efforts to reconcile with her ex-husband Jin-hwa were highlighted.

The couple is currently cohabiting and spending time with their daughter, Hye-jung. However, their path to reconciliation has hit an unexpected hurdle. Jin-hwa's mother has been pressuring him by arranging matchmaking meetings.

His mother declared, "Come back to China immediately! If you don't come, I'll come to find you," adding, "How can you attend a matchmaking meeting if you don't come?" Watching this unfold in the studio, Hamsowon expressed her shock, saying, "This is the first time I'm hearing about this. Hearing my former mother-in-law talk about another woman feels like a blow to the head."

Before learning about Jin-hwa's matchmaking meetings, Hamsowon had expressed her desire to reconcile. Jin-hwa responded, "Don't talk about matchmaking. I'll handle it myself," and added, "Who would want to date a divorced man with a child these days? I have no intention of meeting another woman."

His mother insisted, "Did you see the photos or messages I sent? The other party doesn't mind," continuing to pressure him about the matchmaking meetings. In an interview with the production team, Jin-hwa revealed, "I was introduced to my mom's friend's daughter. There are two women I'm supposed to meet."

Upon learning about her former mother-in-law's intentions, Hamsowon expressed her disappointment, saying, "I thought she would want us to live together since she has always supported me." She candidly added, "Honestly, I hope he doesn't go to any matchmaking meetings for the time being."
