Seo Dong-joo Showcases $1.2 Million Newlywed Home; Lee Jung-hyun Shares Sweet Moments with Doctor Husband

On the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release Pyeonstorang,' attorney and broadcaster Seo Dong-joo appeared as a special MC, while the sweet daily life of Lee Jung-hyun and her husband was unveiled.

Seo Dong-joo, known for her multifaceted talents as a lawyer, broadcaster, painter, and writer, revealed her knack for financial investments. She shared, "It's my biggest interest. I'm not very good at it, so my husband and I enrolled in an auction academy together."

Seo Dong-joo purchased her newlywed home in Chang-dong for $1.2 million through an auction. She commented, "We didn't have much seed money. We bought an old house, remodeled it, and are living there. There's even a redevelopment issue. I hope it happens soon," she smiled.

The daughter of the late comedian Seo Se-won and Seo Jung-hee, Seo Dong-joo remarried last year to a husband four years her junior. She expressed, "I try to show a lot of affection. I want to live folding my tongue in half," and shared that her husband's nickname is 'Myung Myung,' a cute version of 'puppy.' Her husband calls her 'baby.'

Meanwhile, Lee Jung-hyun attended the Blue Dragon Film Awards as a rookie director for 'Flower Play,' but unfortunately did not win. Her husband, who secretly visited to support her, joked, "There are so many strong contenders at the Blue Dragon," but when she didn't win, he said, "Someone else got it. You must be disappointed," with a serious expression.

As Lee Jung-hyun was heading home empty-handed, she was surprised by her husband's appearance. "You have so many surgeries, why did you come? You should be watching the kids," she said, unable to hide her smile. She expressed gratitude, saying, "I felt shabby coming out, but seeing my husband was more touching than a proposal."

Her husband prepared a '30th debut anniversary' celebration for Lee Jung-hyun, who juggles roles as an actress, singer, mother, and wife. Lee Jung-hyun, surprised by the event, said, "I didn't know because I was busy raising two kids," and shared a sweet moment with her husband. When she called him "honey" instead of "mister," he humorously replied, "Why are you doing this? Just do as usual," causing laughter.

The couple shared a kiss while eating dakgalbi, a dish they often enjoyed during their dating days. The production team added a caption, "You might have a third child at this rate," supporting their love. However, their eldest daughter, Seo-ah, humorously protested, "Don't love each other. I'm going to marry dad. Dad only loves Seo-ah," and cried for an hour, bringing smiles to everyone.
