Musical Stars Kim Junsu and Jung Sun-ah Share Their Unique Chemistry on 'Radio Star'
Musical theater stars Kim Junsu and Jung Sun-ah showcased their unique chemistry.

On the October 28th episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star,' chef Jung Ho-young, Sam Kim, and musical actors Kim Junsu and Jung Sun-ah made guest appearances.

During the show, Jung Sun-ah shared how she became the first actor to join Kim Junsu's agency, Palm Tree Island. She recalled, "I went to CEO Kim Junsu's house to discuss the contract, and the entrance was all gold. For a moment, I thought he was an Egyptian billionaire."

Jung Sun-ah continued, "I wondered if I should step into such a grand place with my humble feet, but I felt like I would get continuous work offers, so I decided to sign quickly."

In response, Kim Junsu explained, "I was already close with Sun-ah and we were in the same company before. Shortly after I started my company, I heard she was entering the free agent market."

Kim Junsu added, "One thing I can boast about our company is that we've doubled the guarantees for all our actors." He also mentioned that for the birthdays of their actors, they gift luxury items or vouchers worth over 1 million won. Additionally, if a company employee has a special occasion, they can use the guest room in his penthouse.

Meanwhile, Kim Junsu founded the musical actor agency Palm Tree Island in 2021. He currently resides in the Signiel Residence at Lotte Tower in Jamsil, Seoul, known as the most expensive officetel in Korea, with a reported purchase price of around 8.9 billion won.
