On the October 28th episode of MBC's 'Radio Star' (planned by Choi Yoon-jung / directed by Yoon Hye-jin, Hwang Yoon-sang, Byun Da-hee), guests Jung Ho-young, Sam Kim, Kim Junsu, and Jung Sun-ah shared behind-the-scenes stories and real-life talk, resonating with viewers.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 29th, the episode of 'Radio Star' recorded a household rating of 3.0%, ranking first in its time slot, with the 2054 demographic rating also topping the charts. The highest-rated minute peaked at 4.2%.

Chef Jung Ho-young opened up about the changes in people's reactions around him after 'Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War Season 2' (hereafter 'Black and White Chef 2'). Kim Gura noted, “I sometimes visit his restaurant, and he's always there. Business is good, but there's always a sense of emptiness and longing on his face.” Jung Ho-young responded, “I feel like my desires have been fulfilled a lot after 'Black and White Chef 2',” bringing laughter. He added, “People I've seen for five years suddenly ask to take pictures with me,” sharing how his life has changed post-broadcast.

Jung Ho-young also shared updates on his running crew activities. He enjoys running with Yoo Se-yoon, Yang Se-hyung, and Kang Jae-joon, saying, “The happiest moment is when we eat something delicious after running together.” He added, “I completed 10km in 58 minutes. He candidly expressed his desire for advertisements. Jung Ho-young mentioned wanting to shoot a blender commercial with Sam Kim, joking, “Only those who like us, like us. But if I were an advertiser, I'd probably go with Chef Son Jong-won.” He humorously added, “We can do a buy-one-get-one-free deal,” sending a love call to advertisers and leaving a strong impression.

Sam Kim and Jung Ho-young showcased their chemistry through revelations and jokes about their long-standing relationship and 'Black and White Chef 2' team dynamics. Sam Kim said, “Ho-young has many strategies. He seems easygoing but is deep-thinking. If he gets tired, he passes it to me,” causing laughter. Jung Ho-young explained, “That's just how it was edited,” to which Sam Kim replied, “I'm satisfied being portrayed as the problem solver,” heating up the atmosphere.

The secretive atmosphere of 'Black and White Chef 2' was also revealed. Sam Kim shared, “Many chefs from 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' appeared, so I casually asked if they were contacted, but everyone said no. But on the first day, when the door opened, they were all sitting there,” vividly describing the intense mind games among the participants. He also shared a surprising confession about advertisements. When Jung Ho-young lamented about not getting any ads, Sam Kim revealed, “Actually, I received many offers for photo shoots, electronics, and franchises. But I haven't done any,” leaving Jung Ho-young flustered.

Sam Kim also shared stories about his elementary school fanbase. He said, “We are popular among elementary students from 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator'. My fans get sensitive when I compete against Chef Son Jong-won, sending DMs saying 'lose',” causing laughter. In contrast, Son Jong-won's fans say, “It's okay to lose, just enjoy,” highlighting the difference between older and younger students, filling the set with laughter. He also shared his 'troublesome' days when he deceived his mother to study cooking abroad, conveying his genuine passion for cooking and current recognition, adding to the empathy.
