WDBZ Triumphs at 2025 Choreo Awards: A Double Win for the Dance Crew

Dance crew WDBZ has been honored with the 'Best Choreographer' award, sharing their heartfelt gratitude. The crew gained recognition as the runner-up on Mnet's 'Street Man Fighter' in 2022.

Through their agency ARA, WDBZ expressed, "Instead of calculating trends, we sweated it out in the practice room every day to perfect what we believe is 'cool.' It feels even more meaningful and touching to know that each of those small choices was not wrong."

They added, "We are very grateful for the high evaluation and love for our work in such a prestigious gathering of talented dancers. We want to share this meaning with all our colleagues who love dance. We hope opportunities continue for those who never give up on dance, whether on stage or in the practice room."

Recently, WDBZ set another significant milestone by winning the 'Choreographer of the Year' award at the '2025 Choreo Awards.' This award is given to creators who have showcased the most influential and original choreography, recognizing their contribution to shaping the flow of K-pop beyond stage performances.

WDBZ also won 'Best K-pop Choreography of the Year' for BLACKPINK Jennie's solo hit 'like JENNIE,' marking a double victory. They have once again cemented their presence by proving that performance is a new language that expands the narrative of a song.

WDBZ stated, "In 2026, we aim to improve further and show even better performances, sharing positive influence and energy in K-culture. Above all, we are always grateful and love our fans, WDBZ, who support us even in the cold weather."
