Actor Moo Jin-sung Reveals Passion for Acting and Unique Career Path

Actor Moo Jin-sung is capturing attention with his evident passion for acting.

On the YouTube channel 'Hong Seok-cheon's Jewel Box,' hosted by broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon, a video titled 'Moo Jin-sung, the Wickedly Handsome Gem Who Appeared Like a Storm' was uploaded.

In the video, Moo Jin-sung discussed his ideal type, saying, 'As I mentioned earlier, I pay a lot of attention to hands.' Kim Dol-dol asked Moo Jin-sung, 'Was being an actor always your dream?'

Moo Jin-sung revealed a surprising side by saying, 'I was actually more interested in becoming a legal professional than an actor.' He shared, 'By chance, my high school classmate, who dreamed of becoming an actor, introduced me to theater for the first time.'

He continued, 'There's something about a curtain call, receiving applause after finishing a performance, that's incredibly attractive.' Hong Seok-cheon noted, 'You have an interesting filmography, including your debut film in 2021, 'Genre Only Romance.''

Hong Seok-cheon mentioned, 'In this work, Moo Jin-sung played an aspiring writer. Is this character on our side?' referring to his portrayal of a homosexual character. Moo Jin-sung explained, 'I played a character who has a crush on Ryu Seung-ryong. To prepare for the role, I watched the queer film 'Call Me by Your Name,' starring Timothée Chalamet.'

Moo Jin-sung said, 'Watching the film, I realized that the feeling of loving someone is a universal human emotion, so I focused solely on that aspect for my performance.' Hong Seok-cheon added, 'You also showcased the essence of a younger man romance in the drama 'Can We Be Strangers?''

Moo Jin-sung described his role as 'a character who falls in love with the wife of a close older brother.' Listening to this, Hong Seok-cheon marveled, 'You don't have a single straightforward role.' Kim Dol-dol asked about Moo Jin-sung's real personality, to which he responded that he is actually proactive, suddenly flirting with Kim Dol-dol, making her heart flutter.
