Ji Sung's Intriguing Infiltration: A High-Stakes Game in 'Judge Lee Han Young'
Ji Sung embarks on a thrilling 'hunt' as he infiltrates Park Hee-soon's inner circle.

In the 8th episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge Lee Han Young' (directed by Lee Jae-jin, Park Mi-yeon/written by Kim Kwang-min), aired on the night of the 24th at 9:50 PM, Lee Han Young (played by Ji Sung) is depicted as he gains the trust of Kang Shin Jin (played by Park Hee-soon) after a life-threatening battle, setting the stage to judge the great evil.

During the episode, Lee Han Young prevents an assassin from killing district mayor Choo Young Hoon (played by Lee Jang Won), who was attempting to flee the country. Lee Han Young faces the killer who murdered him in a past life and narrowly escapes being stabbed, thanks to a law book hidden in his coat, ultimately defeating the assailant.

Realizing that Kang Shin Jin is behind the assassination attempt on Choo Young Hoon, Lee Han Young strategically approaches him. When Kang Shin Jin doubts Lee Han Young's intentions regarding prosecutor Park Chul Woo (played by Hwang Hee), Lee Han Young falsely confesses that he seeks revenge on Supreme Court Justice Hwang Nam Yong (played by Kim Myung Soo), who unjustly sentenced his father in the past.

Convinced, Kang Shin Jin takes Lee Han Young to his hideout, promising to offer Hwang Nam Yong as a scapegoat during the Supreme Court Chief Justice's replacement, fully accepting Lee Han Young as his own.

Lee Han Young's meticulous plan also impacts the political sphere. Reporter Song Na Yeon (played by Baek Jin Hee), informed by Lee Han Young, breaks the news of Justice Minister nominee Woo Kyo Hoon's daughter being arrested for drug use, leading to Woo Kyo Hoon's downfall.

Kang Shin Jin ruthlessly cuts ties with the now-useless Woo Kyo Hoon, threatening his family's secrets, and attempts to dominate the judiciary by recommending Hwang Nam Yong as the next Supreme Court Chief Justice.

Meanwhile, Lee Han Young confronts Choo Young Hoon before his trial, urging him to reveal his true, vile nature instead of feigning remorse in front of the victims' families. In the subsequent trial, Choo Young Hoon is sentenced to 10 years in prison and fined 5 billion won, and the families of the sinkhole accident victims express their gratitude to Lee Han Young.

With Kang Shin Jin's trust as leverage, Lee Han Young acquires incriminating evidence against Justice Hwang Nam Yong. Pretending to sever ties with Baek Yi Seok (played by Kim Tae Woo), he approaches Yoo Sun Chul (played by Ahn Nae Sang), declaring that this is the only chance to hunt down the judiciary's 'White Tiger,' Baek Yi Seok, heightening anticipation for his next move.
