Tensions Rise as Moon Sang-min Proposes to Nam Ji-hyun in 'Beloved Thief'
In the latest episode of KBS2TV's 'Beloved Thief' (directed by Ham Young-geol, Lee Ga-ram/written by Lee Sun), which aired on the 24th at 9:20 PM, viewers witnessed Lee Yeol (played by Moon Sang-min) proposing to Hong Eun-jo (played by Nam Ji-hyun).
During the episode, Lee Yeol handed an envelope to Hong Eun-jo, saying, "I was going to give this to you when you left this house, but I changed my mind." Curious, Hong Eun-jo asked, "What is this?"
Lee Yeol replied, "It's my declaration of war that I should have made the moment my soul returned. It's my resolve for the long and arduous battle ahead against the old inheritance and the gap of status." He continued, "This is my only and unique document to rescue you from this damned household."
Unfazed, Lee Yeol responded, "Who cares?" Hong Eun-jo warned, "People will call us immoral and ridicule us." Yet, Lee Yeol confidently said, "Let them." He then extended his hand to Hong Eun-jo, saying, "Let's go." As Hong Eun-jo hesitated, Im Jae-yi (played by Hong Min-ki) appeared, stating, "You can't go," and added, "Not until you die in this house," while glaring at Lee Yeol. Lee Yeol returned the glare.
