Chef Lim Sung-geun, known for his appearance on Netflix's 'Black and White Chef 2,' recently confessed to three past DUI incidents and issued a handwritten apology. Despite the controversy, tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' aired his episode without edits.

According to the tvN schedule, episode 327 of 'You Quiz' aired from 12:20 PM to 2:40 PM on the 19th. This episode featured Lim Sung-geun alongside Go genius Yoo Ha-jun and actress Kim Hye-yoon. The episode is set to re-air four more times: on tvN SHOW on the 29th at 7:35 PM, on the 20th at 5:30 PM, on tvN STORY on the 20th at 11:20 AM, and on tvN on the 21st at 7:10 AM.

Lim's appearance on 'You Quiz,' which originally aired on the 14th, highlighted his career as a Korean cuisine chef for 43 years and his experiences on 'Black and White Chef 2.' Just four days after the episode aired, on the 18th, Lim uploaded a video titled 'Food and Alcohol' on his YouTube channel 'Lim Jjang TV.' In the video, he admitted to being cautious with alcohol for the past 5-6 years, confessing, "I made mistakes because I liked drinking. I drove under the influence three times over ten years." He added, "I received criminal punishment, my license was revoked, and I had to retake the test."

Lim further stated, "Drunk driving is an inexcusable mistake of mine," and revealed that he deeply regretted his actions, accepted legal consequences, and spent years reflecting on himself. He also shared a handwritten apology.

As the controversy grew, various allegations and statements about Lim's past resurfaced online. Photos showing him with tattoos in the Irezumi style on his arms, neck, and body spread rapidly.

Despite the backlash, 'You Quiz' has not removed Lim's episode from public view. The episode aired unedited, and the YouTube video remains available. The video's comment section is filled with negative reactions, such as "Take down the video," "Why feature a criminal?", "Is there no vetting for guests?", and "Downfall Quiz Show."
