'I Live Alone' Stars Raise 52 Million Won for Charity at 'Rainbow Grand Bazaar'
On the episode aired on the 16th, viewers watched as Gyu-seong Hwan pursued his dream of obtaining a motorcycle license, alongside the continuation of the 'Rainbow Grand Bazaar'. According to Nielsen Korea, the episode achieved a household rating of 5.1% in the Seoul metropolitan area, securing the top spot among Friday variety shows. The 2054 demographic rating, a key indicator of channel competitiveness, also ranked first at 3.2%.
The event saw appearances from actors Cha Tae-hyun, Heo Sung-tae, and Ko Kang-yong, along with MBC announcers, Han Seok-jun, and Apink's Oh Ha-young and GFriend's Yerin, who supported Joy. Chef Yoo Yong-wook, rappers Woo Won-jae and Coogie, and the final guest, donation angel Sean, further fueled the charitable spirit of the bazaar.
Even Jun Hyun-moo's luxury red shoes, initially overlooked, found a new owner in Woo Won-jae, who expressed satisfaction with his purchase. Sean, known for his philanthropy, left a poignant message in the guestbook: 'Sharing is Life', encapsulating the essence of the event. After the bazaar concluded, Dex, who had been an early visitor, returned to shop again, donating an additional 1 million won, bringing his total contribution to 5 million won.
The 'Rainbow Grand Bazaar' raised 24,015,000 won in sales. Jun Hyun-moo, Kian84, Code Kunst, and Joy collectively added 50 million won, with Gyu-seong Hwan and Ahn Jae-hyun each contributing 1 million won, culminating in a total donation of 52 million won. The voluntary participation and generosity of the 21 'Grand Guests' and Rainbow members brought smiles and warmth to viewers, earning widespread praise.
Next week's episode will feature the 2026 Year of the Horse special 'Rainbow Let's Run', showcasing the daily life of actor Bae Na-ra and a Seoul tour with Kim Dae-ho and his cousins.
