Actor Lomon Draws Inspiration from Soccer Star Son Heung-min for New Drama Role

Actor Lomon revealed that he drew inspiration from soccer star Son Heung-min for his character.

On the 16th, a press conference for the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'No Tail to Tell' was held at the SBS Hall in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Kim Jung-kwon, actors Kim Hye-yoon, and Lomon.

'No Tail to Tell' is a fantasy romance about a Gen Z gumiho who doesn't want to become human and a narcissistic human, navigating their chaotic lives.

Lomon takes on the role of Kang Si-yeol, a world-renowned soccer player who knows nothing but soccer and himself, full of pride but never lazy. When asked about his role model, Lomon said, "It's overwhelming to mention such great players, and I apologize to soccer fans if it seems presumptuous. I was greatly inspired by the unstoppable energy of Son Heung-min and Zlatan Ibrahimović."

When asked to say a word to Son Heung-min, Lomon expressed, "It's quite overwhelming, but if you see this video, I hope you have a blessed New Year. You've been a great help in creating the character of Si-yeol. I sincerely thank you."

'No Tail to Tell' premieres on the 16th at 9:50 PM.
