Netflix's 'Culinary Class Wars Season 2' Winner Choi Gang-rok Captivates 1.03 Million with Humble Words

Choi Gang-rok, the winner of Netflix's reality show 'Culinary Class Wars Season 2,' has captured the attention of approximately 1.03 million people with his humble remarks.

On January 14, a video was posted on the online platform 'X' (formerly Twitter), where Choi explains the reason behind creating 'the one dish for myself' for the final competition. The user who shared the video expressed their emotions, saying, "Listening to Choi Gang-rok's words brought tears to my eyes."

As of 10 PM on the 14th, the video has garnered 1.03 million views, just 16 hours after being posted. It has received around 20,000 likes and approximately 8,700 shares.

Known for his expertise in braised dishes, Choi Gang-rok, nicknamed 'Braising Human,' presented a 'soup dish with sesame tofu' and red-capped soju for the final mission, deviating from his usual braised specialties. When asked why he chose this dish, he candidly admitted, "I once won a competition by making a lot of braised dishes. I'm not particularly good at braising, but I pretended to be."

Choi further revealed, "I've studied and worked hard. I've lived a life of pretending to be something I'm not. I didn't want to make a braised dish for a dish meant for myself. I wanted to comfort myself, who has been so hard on myself every day."

On January 13, the final episode of 'Culinary Class Wars Season 2' was released, revealing Choi Gang-rok as the ultimate winner.

In his victory speech, Choi expressed, "I am just like those who work tirelessly behind the scenes in the culinary world. I will cherish the words of encouragement and strive to think more deeply about food. I will not become complacent."
