Lee Je-hoon Uncovers Hidden Truths in Military Intrigue on 'Taxi Driver 3'
In the 15th episode of SBS's 'Taxi Driver 3', aired on the night of the 9th, Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) embarks on a mission to uncover the truth.
During the episode, Kim Do-gi is shocked to learn about the death of Yoo Seon-ah (played by Jeon So-ni), who was his subordinate during his military service. Yoo Seon-ah had been dishonorably discharged posthumously as a sergeant due to allegations of desertion, weapon theft, and attempted contact with North Korean officials. However, Kim Do-gi, knowing her character, suspects a cover-up.
To uncover the secrets behind Yoo Seon-ah's death, Kim Do-gi discards his phone and applies for military re-enlistment, temporarily leaving Rainbow Transport. He is dispatched to a border military unit under the guise of investigating endangered golden eagle nests for two weeks. To assist him, the Rainbow Transport team infiltrates the base in various disguises.
Despite being under the watchful eye of Colonel Kim Tae-won (played by Kim Jin-wook), who is suspicious of him, Kim Do-gi meticulously traces Yoo Seon-ah's last movements within the military base.
Kim Do-gi eventually discovers a bodycam video left by Yoo Seon-ah at the 'under the bird's nest' location, a secret spot he had taught her for emergencies. In the video, Yoo Seon-ah leaves a message, "I believe Captain Kim Do-gi will find this," revealing that she sacrificed herself to save her comrades when escape routes were blocked.
Having confirmed the truth, Kim Do-gi sheds tears and vows to restore Yoo Seon-ah's honor and take down those responsible.
