Comedian Jo Se-ho Faces Renewed Allegations Amid Comeback Announcement
Recently, Netizen A took to social media, questioning, "Is Jo Se-ho really making a comeback? Is he returning because his acquaintance, gangster B, has fled overseas, making investigation impossible? If so, I will release a video of Jo Se-ho with his wife at B's house."
Netizen A further warned, "I advised him to reflect quietly and return, but is he challenging me now? Go ahead and try to make a comeback."
A few days later, the agency announced Jo Se-ho's departure from shows like 'You Quiz on the Block' and '2 Days & 1 Night,' reiterating their stance. The agency stated, "We will proceed with legal actions more swiftly and firmly to resolve misunderstandings surrounding Jo Se-ho and restore his tarnished image. We promise to dispel all current suspicions and return in a healthy state."
Jo Se-ho also addressed the issue personally, saying, "I should have been more cautious in my relationships with those around me. In my younger days, I failed to handle all those connections maturely. However, I assure you that the allegations arising from those connections are entirely unfounded."
On the 31st of last month, 22 days after the controversy, it was announced that Jo Se-ho would join Netflix's variety show 'Driver' for its fourth season. Netflix confirmed, "We are diligently preparing for the new season of 'Driver.' Jo Se-ho will continue to be part of the show, following his participation in season 3."
