Actress Lim Soo-jung Mourns the Loss of Her Mother

Actress Lim Soo-jung, aged 46, is mourning the loss of her mother.

On January 2nd, a media outlet reported that Lim Soo-jung's mother passed away on the previous day, January 1st.

According to the report, Lim Soo-jung and her family are keeping vigil at the funeral home, deeply saddened by the news received on the first day of the new year.

Her agency, MYM Entertainment, announced through multiple media outlets that all funeral proceedings will be held privately according to the family's wishes. The funeral is scheduled for January 4th.

Lim Soo-jung shared her New Year's greetings on December 31, 2023, but has since been relatively quiet on social media, with her only post in 2025 being on March 19.

Lim Soo-jung debuted in 1998 after winning a magazine cover model contest. She has since starred in films such as 'A Tale of Two Sisters,' 'Sad Movie,' 'I'm a Cyborg, but That's OK,' 'Jeon Woochi : The Taoist Wizard,' 'Finding Mr. Destiny,' 'All About My Wife,' and 'Cobweb.' Her television credits include 'I'm Sorry, I Love You,' 'Search WWW,' and 'School 4.'

Looking ahead, Lim Soo-jung is set to star in the upcoming tvN drama 'How to Become a Landlord in Korea'(대한민국에서 건물주 되는 법) and is involved in the production of the film 'Second Child,'(두 번째 아이) which is slated for release soon.
