Actor Jo Yoon-woo Announces Retirement and Marriage in Heartfelt Message
On the 1st, Jo Yoon-woo shared, "As the new year begins, I have something to say. After much contemplation, I have found a precious person to spend my life with, and I have decided to end my 15-year acting career to create our own simple life together."
He continued, "Debuting at 21 and dedicating 15 years solely to acting has been incredibly valuable to me. After careful consideration, I am finally sharing this news. I want to spend the rest of my life with someone I want to protect forever, and I want to enjoy this new chapter together."
He added, "Please watch over the beautiful life I will share with my precious partner and best friend of over four years. I wish you health and happiness in the new year of 2026." Jo Yoon-woo also shared a couple's photo.
Jo Yoon-woo debuted in 2011 with the tvN drama 'Flower Boy Ramen Shop.' He gained recognition through appearances in 'Dating Agency: Cyrano,' 'Ugly Alert,' and as a victim of bullying in the 2013 drama 'The Heirs.' He starred in 'Sister is Alive' in 2017, and his most recent work was the 2023 ENA drama 'Not Others.'
