Actress Han Ji-min Reveals Heartfelt Lock Screen Tribute to Late Grandmother

The identity of the person on actress Han Ji-min's phone lock screen has been revealed.

On the October 26th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Star's Secret Manager' (hereafter referred to as 'Secret Manager'), actress Han Ji-min made an appearance. Han Ji-min and Lee Seo-jin, who co-starred in the 2007 MBC drama 'Yi San', are known to be close friends and colleagues.

During the episode, Han Ji-min conducted the opening interview for the first time on 'Secret Manager'. She humorously revealed, "I was tormented throughout the filming of 'Yi San'. What was shown on TV was just the tip of the iceberg. Except when he bought me meals, it felt like he was a villain from a past life."

Declaring it 'Revenge Day', Han Ji-min assigned all driving duties to Lee Seo-jin. Upon arriving at the salon, she ordered Greek yogurt, an apple, and coffee from him. Despite grumbling, Lee Seo-jin attentively prepared a decaf Americano and even sliced the apple.

After leaving the salon, they got into the car to head to the filming location. Lee Seo-jin, who was holding Han Ji-min's phone, handed it back to her, inadvertently revealing her phone's lock screen to the camera.

The lock screen featured a black-and-white photo of a smiling elderly woman. Han Ji-min, who lost her grandmother in 2020, has previously expressed her deep affection for her.

In a 2020 variety show appearance, she shared, "I was raised by my grandmother. She was like a mother to me. She passed away in July, and it was emotionally challenging as Chuseok approached. Being the eldest, I wanted to make the traditional pancakes for her first memorial service."

In a 2022 appearance on 'You Quiz', she also said, "Last year, my maternal grandmother passed away, and the year before, my paternal grandmother passed away. It was incredibly difficult because my paternal grandmother raised me. It was probably the hardest time in my life. My grandmother was like a mother to me," she said, tearing up.

Meanwhile, Han Ji-min has been publicly dating Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon since August of last year.
