Jeon Hyun-moo Reflects on the Heartache of Losing a Beloved Pet
On the October 26th episode of MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone,' Kian84 decided to adopt a rescue dog in celebration of his mother's 65th birthday.
In the studio, amidst the absence of Park Na-rae and Key, Jeon Hyun-moo, Koo Sung-hwan, Kian84, Joy, and Code Kunst held their positions.
Koo Sung-hwan, who had just returned from filming in Kazakhstan, congratulated Jeon Hyun-moo on winning the '2025 KBS Entertainment Awards' grand prize, saying, "The good news reached all the way to Kazakhstan." He added, "There's more good news," expressing his desire for Jeon Hyun-moo and the 'Hoochoo Brothers' to win the Best Couple Award.
Kian84 shared that his pet dog Candy, who had been with him for 13 years, had passed away. He said, "Candy passed away peacefully in my mother's arms. Three years ago, I mentioned Candy in my award acceptance speech, and some people thought it was an exaggeration. But to me, Candy was like family. It was even harder for my mom. She was extremely depressed, like experiencing pet loss syndrome."
Koo Sung-hwan, who has a pet named Kkotbooni, empathized, saying, "I can't even imagine parting with Kkotbooni." Joy added, "I can't watch sad videos. It's already terrifying."
Jeon Hyun-moo also confessed, "After saying goodbye to Toto, who was with me for 17 years, it was really tough. I suddenly think of him and tears come to my eyes."
