Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon Reveals She's the Top Earner Among Members
Hyoyeon of Girls' Generation has revealed that she is the top earner among the group members.

On the 11th episode of 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3,' aired on the 26th, Jeon Hyun-moo, Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin), and their 'food friend' Hyoyeon embarked on a culinary trip to discover hidden gems in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangnam-do. They explored unique spots, from a regulars-only sashimi house with no sign or menu to a place specializing in spicy squid and chicken bulgogi, and even a surprise monkfish specialty restaurant.

Jeon Hyun-moo, excited about the many sights, activities, and foods in Gyeongju, confidently stated, "We don't go to common restaurants. Our first stop is a 'unique restaurant' top tier." Despite the restaurant not appearing in portal searches and lacking a sign and menu, the owner hesitated to accommodate them, saying, "We only serve regulars." However, Jeon Hyun-moo managed to secure permission by boldly requesting, "Consider us regulars and serve us anything."

Before the food tasting, Jeon Hyun-moo created an 'MZ sauce' by mixing soybean paste, sesame oil, garlic, chili, wasabi, and vinegar, setting the mood. Kwak Tube, tasting the flatfish and rockfish sashimi, expressed surprise, saying, "I didn't expect sashimi in Gyeongju," to which Jeon Hyun-moo replied, "We like to surprise people," exuding unfounded confidence.

After warming up with 'morning sashimi,' the duo met their 'food friend' Hyoyeon and headed to the next restaurant. They were amazed to find a restaurant with 12 groups waiting in a quiet neighborhood away from tourist spots. After the wait, they enjoyed the grilled squid and chicken bulgogi, exclaiming, "The charcoal flavor is amazing."

During the food tour, Hyoyeon shared, "I toured the U.S. twice last year as a DJ. My stage name is DJ HYO." She humorously recounted, "In France, they struggled with the pronunciation of 'Hyo,' calling me 'Yo-nyeon, Yo-nyeon.' At first, I didn't realize they were calling me."

While moving to the next restaurant, Kwak Tube asked, "Isn't Girls' Generation known as the only girl group in their late 30s that hasn't married?"

Hyoyeon candidly replied, "The members are all busy," but added, "I feel like I might get married soon. I have dreams of marriage."

At the monkfish specialty restaurant, they enjoyed monkfish stew and steamed dishes, expressing their delight. Hyoyeon asked the newlywed Kwak Tube about his plans for children, to which he shyly replied, "Expecting soon," bringing laughter. Jeon Hyun-moo teased, "Hyoyeon's goal is to be a 'birth queen.'"

The marriage talk intensified. Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "At what age do you want to get married?" Hyoyeon responded, "I should do it before 39. What do you think?" Jeon Hyun-moo, caught off guard, advised, "It's better to do it while you're still in your 30s," sharing a dose of reality. The two even made a bet on who would marry first, heating up the atmosphere.

Kwak Tube inquired, "When Girls' Generation members meet, who pays for the meal?" Jeon Hyun-moo suggested, "Hyoyeon would, since she earns the most." Hyoyeon coolly replied, "I think Yoona and Taeyeon earn more than me. We meet on birthdays or special occasions, and the one who suggests the meeting pays. We all want to pay."

Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "Have the members ever fought?" Hyoyeon shared, "We care for each other like long-time lovers. We were too busy to fight in the beginning. After schedules, it felt like a retreat at the dorm, and we had fun together." She added, "When Yoona was busy filming dramas, she only slept 2-3 hours. We stayed up until she returned, and seeing us seemed to energize her," highlighting their deep friendship and adding warmth to the story.
