Comedian Park Mi-sun has publicly shared her journey battling breast cancer for the first time.

On the 28th, Park Mi-sun's YouTube channel 'I am Park Mi-sun' released a video titled "[Wise Diary of Fighting Illness -1] Becoming a Cancer Patient Overnight."

In the video, Park Mi-sun cautiously began to speak. She revealed, "I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2014, and I started chemotherapy in January 2025. I've documented my journey through this video. I hope it provides strength and some help to many fellow patients."

While hospitalized, she shared, "Today is the first day of chemotherapy," showing the chemo port inserted in her shoulder. "If you receive chemotherapy through a vein, it can damage the veins, so a port is necessary," she explained.

Park Mi-sun continued, "This is my last supper. I need to eat well," as she ate a homemade lunchbox and a hamburger. She added, "I have to eat something," and when her daughter asked about her condition, she replied, "After the first round of chemotherapy, I've taken various medications, so the nausea is manageable, and I'm still okay. I have an appetite, but I feel a bit dizzy."

Taking a walk with her daughter, she said, "It's the second day after chemotherapy, and I'm not feeling too bad. My appetite is fine, and the injection seems to suit me well. Some people experience shock and severe discomfort after the first round, but I'm okay," she said, smiling brightly despite the challenging situation.

Even during her treatment, she didn't let go of her daily life. She visited a book café with her family, enjoyed a meal of spicy hot pot, and relieved stress by playing Nintendo golf games. She humorously remarked, "Two to three days before the second round is when I feel the best. Just when I start feeling better, I have to go back to the hospital and endure it again."
