Tense Confrontation: Kim Young-kwang Left Speechless by Lee Young-ae in 'Walking On Thin Ice'

Kim Young-kwang found himself at a loss for words in front of Lee Young-ae.

On the 9th episode of KBS2TV's 'Walking On Thin Ice' (directed by Song Hyun-wook, written by Jeon Young-shin), which aired on the 18th at 9:20 PM, a tense conversation unfolded between Kang Eun-soo (played by Lee Young-ae) and Lee Kyung (played by Kim Young-kwang).

In this episode, a bloodied Lee Kyung blocked Kang Eun-soo's path, shouting, "Are you crazy? Do you even know what kind of person he is?" He continued, "He's a cop. There are thousands of ways he can make fools of us."

Angered by his words, Kang Eun-soo retorted, "Did you deceive me because you knew so well?" Lee Kyung shouted back, "I had a plan all along." He then told Kang Eun-soo, "If you had just waited a little longer, everything would have worked out. What is this now?"

Kang Eun-soo demanded, "How long am I supposed to wait? You said you'd find the blackmailer while I gathered the money." She continued, "I lost my job at the mart and spent all the money on my husband's medical bills. I'm working without sleep, and I don't even have money for living expenses, let alone loan payments," she cried.

Kang Eun-soo shouted, "Everything I tried to protect by going this crazy is falling apart, and you're deceiving me by siding with him? What I can't stand is that you, who knows my situation better than anyone, did this," she yelled. A flustered Lee Kyung tried to explain, "That's not what I meant," but Kang Eun-soo, with tears in her eyes, said, "I trusted you more than I should have. There's no one to trust in this world, and I relied on someone who only cares about their own goals," and turned away.

Lee Kyung tried to stop Kang Eun-soo, saying, "I'll explain everything. I'll tell you what I was thinking," but Kang Eun-soo shouted, "It's too late," and stormed out. Lee Kyung could only watch as Kang Eun-soo walked away.
