Shocking Revelation: Identity of Copycat Killer Unveiled in 'Mantis: The Killer's Outing'
The latest episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Mantis: The Killer's Outing' delivered a shocking twist as the identity of the copycat killer was revealed.

In the episode aired on the 26th, the mystery surrounding the copycat killer was finally unraveled.

Previously, key suspects in the mantis copycat murder case had met untimely deaths. Seo Gu-wan (played by Lee Tae-gu) died in a mysterious hit-and-run accident, while Park Min-jae (played by Lee Chang-min) was killed by an unknown assailant named Joy.

Amidst the chaos, Jeong I-shin (played by Go Hyun-jung) and Cha Soo-yeol (played by Jang Dong-yoon) pursued leads in the case, discovering that a young Kang Yeon-jung, who had been abused by the victim, had grown up to become the copycat killer.

Cha Soo-yeol, who had stepped back from the investigation, rejoined at Jeong I-shin's request. Meanwhile, Lee Jeong-yeon (played by Kim Bo-ra) was kidnapped and held hostage by the copycat killer. During a phone call with the killer, Jeong I-shin revealed her true intentions to save Lee Jeong-yeon, saying, "You're different from me. You kill because you want to. What you want is me, not the toy you gave."

While listening to the conversation between Jeong I-shin and the killer, Cha Soo-yeol realized that Seo Ah-ra (played by Han Dong-hee), who had introduced him to Lee Jeong-yeon, was the perpetrator. Seo Ah-ra used Lee Jeong-yeon as a bargaining chip to lure Jeong I-shin.

Ultimately, Jeong I-shin decided to confront the killer as they wished. Her son, Cha Soo-yeol, expressed concern, saying, "Kang Yeon-jung has a gun. So this time..." However, Jeong I-shin calmly replied, "Many people want me dead, not just Kang Yeon-jung." Cha Soo-yeol reassured her, "Not me. Don't worry, I'm here," pledging his support.
