Actress Kim Go-eun reminisced about her co-star Kim Gun-woo from the Netflix series 'Eun-jung and Sang-yeon', jokingly saying, "I had to keep him in check a bit since he's my junior from the Korea National University of Arts."

On the 22nd, Kim Go-eun was interviewed at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, about her role in the Netflix series 'Eun-jung and Sang-yeon'. The series portrays the lives of Eun-jung and Sang-yeon (played by Park Ji-hyun), who are best friends and rivals. Kim Go-eun plays the character Ryu Eun-jung.

Speaking about Kim Gun-woo, who played Kim Sang-hak, Kim Go-eun praised him, saying, "He is genuinely kind and very sensitive. He was always receptive to the playful antics of Ji-hyun and me. He has a big heart and is quite similar to his character Sang-hak." She added with a laugh, "I found out that Gun-woo is two years my junior from the Korea National University of Arts, so I kept him in line a bit on set."

In 'Eun-jung and Sang-yeon', Ryu Eun-jung and Kim Sang-hak start as a college campus couple but fail to continue their romance after reuniting as adults. Kim Go-eun commented, "There are different types of attachment styles like secure, anxious, and avoidant. In the series, Sang-hak is a secure type. I think Eun-jung was drawn to him because of that. It made me wonder what it would have been like if Eun-jung had continued her relationship with Sang-hak."

The entire 15-episode series 'Eun-jung and Sang-yeon' was released on Netflix on the 12th.
