Kim Go-eun Praises Park Ji-hyun's Beauty at 'Eun-jung and Sang-yeon' Press Conference

Actress Kim Go-eun expressed her admiration for her co-star Park Ji-hyun's beauty.

On the morning of the 5th, a press conference for Netflix's new original series 'Eun-jung and Sang-yeon' was held at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Kim Go-eun, Park Ji-hyun, and director Jo Young-min.

During the event, Kim Go-eun shared, “Since I am 21, I thought I still had a lot of youthful energy and atmosphere from my teenage years, so I gained a little weight. Looking back at my younger days, my cheeks were chubby. I gained weight for the role,” she recalled, adding, “Park Ji-hyun, who plays a character in her 20s, was truly beautiful. I was smitten.” Park Ji-hyun responded, “I actually lost a bit of weight because Sang-yeon transitions from her teens to her 20s. I found the 20s version of my character to be very lovable as well.”

Kim Go-eun also humorously remarked, "I tend to swell up when I'm tired, but Ji-hyun doesn't. I wondered why only I swell up."

Meanwhile, 'Eun-jung and Sang-yeon' is a story about two friends, Eun-jung (played by Kim Go-eun) and Sang-yeon (played by Park Ji-hyun), who admire, envy, and sometimes resent each other throughout their lives. The series will be available on Netflix with all 15 episodes released on the 12th.
