Super Junior's Shindong Opens Up About Undergoing Nipple Reduction Surgery

Super Junior's Shindong (39) recently revealed that he underwent nipple reduction surgery.

On the October 3rd episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star,' episode 930 featured a special titled 'All Size Project,' with guests including 'Belly Hills' Seo Jang-hoon, Shingiru, Shindong, and Na Seon-wook.

During the show, Shindong shared a personal jinx, saying, "If I like a demo, it usually doesn't do well." He added, "When I first heard 'Sorry Sorry,' I didn't like it at all. The lyrics seemed childish. But 'Sorry Sorry' became a huge hit. Similarly, when I saw the choreography for aespa's follow-up song to 'Black Mamba,' I thought it was not good, but that song turned out to be 'Next Level.'"

Reflecting on their 20th anniversary release 'Express Mode' from July, he said, "I loved the demo, but the members warned me that if I liked it, it wouldn't do well. It didn't become a massive hit."

When asked if he had shamanistic tendencies, Shindong replied, "Yes, my grandmother was a shaman." Kim Gura suggested he appear on 'Late Night Ghost Talk,' to which Shindong confessed, "I was once invited to 'Late Night Ghost Talk,' but I declined because I was too scared."

Shindong also revealed that he had surgery during his time on the show 'Bbo Bbo Bbo.' He explained, "During filming, the director suddenly cut the scene because my nipples were too prominent. I ended up having nipple reduction surgery. The doctor mentioned they might grow back."
