K-Pop Star Kim Yong-bin Opens Up About Battling Panic Disorder for 7 Years

K-Pop singer Kim Yong-bin revealed on a recent episode of TV CHOSUN's variety show 'My Way-Overindulgence Club' that he was unable to sing for seven years due to panic disorder.

The episode, which aired on the 3rd, featured the 'Overindulgence Club' team, including Tak Jae-hoon, Chae Jung-an, U-Know Yunho, Leeteuk, and Mimi Minoo, welcoming the 'Trot Prince' Kim Yong-bin.

Debuting at the age of 13, Kim Yong-bin is now in his 21st year in the industry. For the first time, he shared his daily life on the show, captivating viewers. His beauty routine, starting with facial cleansing, impressed even Chae Jung-an. His dedication to presenting a perfect image to fans was evident as he received nail care. His strict self-discipline, avoiding alcohol, smoking, coffee, and even delivery food, was admirable.

Kim Yong-bin shared the story behind his intense dedication. He said, "Fame is not eternal. It can disappear at any moment. During my teenage years, I went through a voice change and there was a time when no one sought me out. After that, I couldn't sing for seven years due to panic disorder."

Meanwhile, U-Know Yunho showcased his commitment to 'a new me.' Early in the morning, he created a mandarat chart to rebrand himself. Listing various aspects like vocals, dance, acting, and trends, he expressed, "I write down what I think are my weaknesses and aim to improve and grow."

Waking up at 4 AM, U-Know Yunho engaged in fasting cardio, learned pole dancing, and even took art lessons. Despite being in his 22nd year since debut, his relentless pursuit of new challenges left the show's hosts in awe.
