Emotional Reunion: 'The Nice Guy' Episode 10 Highlights Family Drama

Chun Ho-jin Holds Back from Hitting Oh Na-ra in Emotional Scene.

On the 15th episode of JTBC's 'The Nice Guy' (directed by Song Hae-sung, Park Hong-soo; written by Kim Woon-kyung, Kim Hyo-seok), viewers witnessed a poignant moment between Park Seok-gyeong (played by Oh Na-ra) and Park Sil-gon (played by Chun Ho-jin) as Seok-gyeong returns home after running away.

In this episode, Seok-gyeong, teary-eyed, calls out to her mother, Jo Mak-soon (played by Park Myung-shin), upon her return. Jo Mak-soon tells her to come inside, advising her to kneel and apologize to her father, Park Sil-gon, if he scolds or hits her.

Seok-gyeong, holding back tears, is told by Jo Mak-soon that she must have been prepared for this moment, having announced her return to the whole neighborhood. Hearing this, Hyeong-geun (played by Choi I-jun) insists that their mother should not be hit. Jo Mak-soon remarks on the emotional scene, while Hyeong-geun begins to cry. Seok-gyeong reassures him, saying she is ready for whatever comes.

Seok-gyeong tells Hyeong-geun that she deserves to be scolded, but he protests, asking what she did wrong. Seok-gyeong admits her mistakes, acknowledging that she made him cry and deserves to be reprimanded. She encourages him to smile, as she is back home.

Seok-gyeong then approaches Park Sil-gon, kneeling and apologizing for her actions. As she expresses her remorse, Park Sil-gon attempts to strike her, but is stopped by Jo Mak-soon and Park Seok-hee (played by Ryu Hye-young). Jo Mak-soon reminds him that Hyeong-geun is present, causing Park Sil-gon to pause.

Seok-gyeong pleads for forgiveness, willing to accept any punishment. However, Park Sil-gon cannot bring himself to hit her. Hyeong-geun embraces Seok-gyeong protectively. Park Sil-gon asks if she has eaten, and upon hearing she hasn't, instructs Jo Mak-soon to feed her. Jo Mak-soon prepares a meal for Seok-gyeong, who eats while crying in front of her family.
