Choo Young-woo Tops August 2025 Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings
In the latest analysis of drama actor brand reputation for August 2025, Choo Young-woo has emerged as the top-ranked actor, followed by Lee Jong-suk and Park Bo-gum.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute conducted a brand big data analysis of 50 actors appearing in dramas aired from July 13 to August 13, 2025. The analysis was based on 59,998,725 pieces of brand big data, measuring consumer brand participation, media coverage, communication, and community engagement. Compared to the 80,716,732 pieces of drama actor brand big data from July, there was a 25.67% decrease.

The brand reputation analysis for drama actors was conducted using participation index, media index, communication index, and community index. The brand reputation index is derived from extracting brand big data and analyzing consumer behavior through a reputation analysis algorithm, categorizing it into participation value, communication value, media value, community value, and social value with weighted indicators.

The brand reputation big data analysis allows for the measurement of positive and negative evaluations of the brand, media sources and interest, consumer interest and communication volume, community spread of issues, and reactions and popularity of content.

The top 30 drama actor brand reputation rankings for August 2025 are as follows: Choo Young-woo, Lee Jong-suk, Park Bo-gum, Jo Yi-hyun, Moon Ga-young, Uhm Ji-won, Kim Young-kwang, Ahn Jae-wook, Lee Dong-wook, Arin, Kim Nam-gil, Won Jin-ah, Yang Se-jong, Yum Jung-ah, Kim Dong-wan, Ryu Hye-young, Kim Min-kyu, Cha Kang-yoon, Choi Yoon-ji, Lee Sung-kyung, Yoon Kye-sang, Lee Soo-hyuk, Im Soo-jung, Lee Sang-yi, Kang Yoo-seok, Kim So-hyun, Choi Young-joon, Ham Eun-jung, Yoon Park, Choo Ja-hyun.

Choo Young-woo, who topped the brand reputation rankings, achieved a participation index of 1,153,796, a media index of 1,148,622, a communication index of 912,528, and a community index of 1,486,098, resulting in a brand reputation index of 4,701,043. Lee Jong-suk's brand reputation index was 3,340,291, and Park Bo-gum's was 3,175,698.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, stated, "In the August 2025 drama actor brand reputation analysis, Choo Young-woo's brand ranked first. In the big data link analysis, 'passionate performance, hosting, ending' were prominent, and in the keyword analysis, 'Gyeonwoo and Jiknyeo, fan meeting, Netflix' were significant. The positive ratio was analyzed to be 92.87%."

He added, "In the drama actor brand category, the August 2025 brand big data analysis showed a 25.67% decrease compared to the 80,716,732 pieces of drama actor brand big data from July. Detailed analysis revealed an 8.79% decrease in brand consumption, a 14.25% decrease in brand issues, a 35.36% decrease in brand communication, and a 30.45% decrease in brand spread."
