Kim Young-kwang Discusses Chemistry with Lee Young-ae in Upcoming Drama

In a recent interview at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, Kim Young-kwang, who plays the role of Moon Baek in Netflix's 'Trigger,' discussed his experiences. 'Trigger' is a gun disaster action thriller set in South Korea, where illegal firearms are mysteriously delivered, leading to a series of gun-related incidents. The story follows two men who, for their own reasons, take up arms. Moon Baek, portrayed by Kim, is a free-spirited character who unexpectedly teams up with Lee Do, played by Kim Nam-gil, forming an unpredictable alliance.
Towards the end of the interview, Kim Young-kwang mentioned his next project. He is set to return on November 20th with KBS2's new weekend mini-series 'Eunsoo's Good Day.'
'Eunsoo's Good Day' tells the story of Kang Eun-soo, a parent determined to protect her family, and Lee Kyung, a teacher with a dual personality, who become entangled in a dangerous and desperate partnership after accidentally acquiring a bag of drugs. Kim Young-kwang takes on the role of Lee Kyung, a character who is a popular art instructor by day and a mysterious club MD by night. Lee Young-ae plays Kang Eun-soo, a woman pushed to the brink by her husband's deteriorating health and financial ruin.
Speaking about his co-star Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang said, "Her voice is truly wonderful, making her lines very clear. It was extremely cold during filming, and she seemed quite sensitive to the cold."
He humorously added, "She is very fair-skinned and has clear eyes. Since I have a darker complexion, I jokingly asked for some color correction in our two-shot scenes."
Meanwhile, 'Trigger' has received a warm reception, debuting at number one on Netflix's 'Top 10 Series in South Korea' and reaching fourth place on the 'Global Top 10 Non-English Series' within just three days of its release.
