EXID's Hani Surprises Participants on 'Oh Eun-young Stay' with Her Unrecognized Appearance

EXID's Hani made a surprising appearance on MBN's 'Oh Eun-young Stay,' aired on the 7th at 9:10 PM, where participants initially failed to recognize her.

The episode featured Hani visiting Ssanggyesa Temple, where she joined hosts Ko So-young, Oh Eun-young, and Yoo Se-yoon. The participants included a detective, a police officer, a funeral director, a man who works out at a 24-hour gym, and a woman who lost family members in the Muan Airport plane crash.

Hani greeted the participants with a bright and cheerful voice, but they responded hesitantly, not recognizing her. Feeling a bit awkward, Hani took her seat, and the hosts later joined to listen to the participants' introductions.

As the participants shared their stories and explained their nicknames, Hani introduced herself by her real name, Ahn Hee-yeon. She asked if anyone knew her, but no one recognized her. Surprised, Hani revealed, "I'm actually a singer and a celebrity." It was only then that the participants realized who she was, leading to laughter when Hani joked, "Am I not celebrity-level in appearance?"

Hani explained her reason for participating, saying, "I've recently realized that life doesn't always go as planned. I've learned to let go of the need to control everything." She added, "Starting my career at such a young age, I found myself unaware of the world outside my bubble."

Meanwhile, Hani had announced her engagement to psychiatrist Yang Jae-woong, who is ten years her senior, but postponed the wedding due to a patient death incident at Yang's clinic.
