Lee Jong-suk's 'Seocho-dong' Sets Record Ratings with Captivating Performance

'Seocho-dong' premiered with a metropolitan household rating of 4.8% and a nationwide average of 4.6%, marking the highest debut ratings for a tvN weekend drama this year. The second episode continued the trend with a nationwide average of 5.1%, peaking at 5.9%, and a metropolitan average of 5.1%, peaking at 6%, setting a new record for tvN weekend dramas.
Earlier this year, tvN faced challenges with 'Ask the Stars', which ended with a 2.6% rating despite a 50 billion won production budget, followed by 'Potato Research Institute' and 'Divorce Insurance', both struggling with ratings in the 1% range.
However, the network bounced back with hits like 'Someday Wise Resident Life' and 'Unknown Seoul', and now 'Seocho-dong' has surpassed the 5% mark in just two episodes, signaling a successful streak. Notably, 'Seocho-dong' is experiencing a faster ratings climb than its predecessors, heightening expectations.

Lee's prowess shines in the courtroom, where his sharp analytical skills and logical reasoning solve cases. Joo-hyung's preference for facts over emotions is bolstered by Lee's flawless diction and steady voice, adding persuasive power to his direct and logical speech.

'Seocho-dong' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM.
