K-Pop Star Hwasa Gifts Car to Longtime Staff Member, Showcasing Her Generosity

K-pop sensation Hwasa has made headlines for her generous gift to a longtime staff member—a car. This heartwarming gesture was revealed during the October 6th episode of KBS2's variety show 'Crazy Rich Koreans,' which followed Hwasa on her North American tour.

During the episode, Hwasa was seen traveling from New York to Boston. To lighten the mood, she announced, "Let's have a quiz show. The team with the most correct answers will win a rest stop voucher," engaging her team in a fun activity.

Hwasa shared, "Honestly, even though it's tough, I'm happy. But I felt sorry for my staff. I wondered, 'What did they do to deserve this?' So, I wanted to make them smile and prepared this fun segment."

The team members eagerly participated in the quiz, and after a fierce competition, the dancer team emerged victorious. Hwasa handed over her card to the winning team, saying, "Feel free to use it at the rest stop," with a smile. The dancers used Hwasa's card to purchase snacks worth 500,000 won.

One dancer present commented, "I've never seen anyone as considerate as Hwasa. Her sincerity is always evident." A stylist added, "She gives so much that it's hard to mention just one thing. She gifted me a car for my birthday," leaving everyone surprised.

Hwasa, feeling shy, explained, "I've been working with her for 10 years. Her old car broke down, and she couldn't replace it. I wanted to gift her a new one."

Watching this, Kwak Tube jokingly asked, "Hyunmoo, you're our leader too. Can't you gift us a car each?" To which Jun Hyunmoo humorously replied, "There's a place with really delicious ramen ahead. I'll treat you to that," eliciting laughter.

This isn't the first time Hwasa's generosity has been in the spotlight. In 2020, her backup dancers shared photos on social media of luxury bags gifted by Hwasa, noting, "Hwasa personally chose brands that suited each of us."
