Actress Park Ha-sun Honors Independence Activists in MBC's Special Documentary

MBC's special project for the 80th anniversary of Liberation, 'Memory·Record,' features prominent celebrities as 'recorders.' Through their voices, the mini-documentary series remembers and records the patriots who contributed to the foundation of modern-day South Korea. It sheds new light on the forgotten names and histories that should not be overlooked, reminding us of the profound significance of liberation.

This event drew global attention and marked a turning point in the independence movement, but it also intensified Japanese surveillance and pursuit. The Provisional Government endured a long exile of about eight years, during which the couple steadfastly fulfilled their roles, protecting the government until the end. Actress Park Ha-sun expressed her gratitude for their dedication, stating, "It was possible because the couple earnestly wished for independence with one heart and mind."
The couple's life story is synonymous with the struggle of the Provisional Government. MBC's special project 'Memory·Record 2,' featuring the couple Yeon Mi-dang and Eom Hang-seop, will air on the 6th at 10:25 AM.
