Musician Lee Sang-soon recently shared on his radio show that he has taken a break from social media.

On the October 19th broadcast of MBC FM4U's 'A Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon,' listeners participated in a segment called 'Sharing of Preferences,' where they exchanged their musical tastes.

During the show, a listener shared, "I wanted to disconnect from my phone, so I bought a dial radio and started listening to your show. It's been great, especially with the music I love playing."

Lee Sang-soon resonated with the listener's sentiment, admitting, "I had the same thought this morning. I've been looking at my phone too much lately, especially short videos on YouTube Shorts and social media. It feels like a dopamine addiction."

He continued, "I think many people feel they're on their phones too often. I recommend not checking social media for about a week. I haven't looked at it at all since this morning, and I find I have more time and even feel sleepy."

Lee concluded by saying, "Having time to just be idle is good, and I recommend listening to the radio. It's purely auditory, so there's no overstimulation, and it's a way to avoid dopamine addiction."

Meanwhile, Lee's wife, Lee Hyori, moved to Seoul's Pyeongchang-dong last year after living in Jeju Island for 11 years since their marriage in 2013. Their Pyeongchang-dong residence is reportedly valued at 6 billion KRW (approximately 60 million USD).
