Lee Min-jung Shares Humorous Baeksang Arts Awards Story with Shin Dong-yup

Actress Lee Min-jung shared a humorous story about the Baeksang Arts Awards.

On the recent episode of KBS 2TV's 'Going and Coming with Lee Min-jung' (referred to as 'Gaojeong'), Shin Dong-yup appeared as a guest.

During the show, Shin Dong-yup revealed, "After the Baeksang Awards, Byung-hun invited me over for a drink. Min-jung joined us after putting the baby to sleep and was very curious about variety shows. She asked me a lot of questions, but I've never done outdoor variety shows."

Lee Min-jung added, "I couldn't say 'Congratulations' that day because Byung-hun oppa said, 'Why didn't I win?' so I couldn't speak." Shin Dong-yup had won the Best Variety Performer award at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards held in May.

Shin Dong-yup shared more, "After the awards, we were having a beer at Byung-hun's place, and he jokingly said, 'I can't congratulate you. I thought I was going to win.'"

Lee Min-jung explained, "Byung-hun didn't expect to win, but critics and journalists had congratulated him in advance, so he thought he might win. I couldn't fully congratulate him and had to be cautious," she said, bringing laughter to the set.
