Seohyun and Ok Taecyeon Share Their Experience Working Together on New Drama

Actors Seohyun and Ok Taecyeon shared their thoughts on working together.

On the 11th, a press conference for the KBS2TV Wednesday-Thursday drama 'I Took the Male Lead's First Night' was held at The Saint in Sindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Lee Woong-hee, actors Seohyun, Ok Taecyeon, Kwon Han-sol, Seo Beom-jun, and Ji Hye-won.

'I Took the Male Lead's First Night' is a 'no-brake' romance fantasy drama that unfolds when a supporting character, inhabited by the soul of an ordinary college student, spends a night with the novel's most obsessive male lead.

Seohyun commented on her chemistry with Ok Taecyeon, saying, "Although we didn't have a close friendship due to our long-time music careers, there was an internal sense of familiarity. We've experienced many things together, which created a sense of camaraderie and brotherhood. From our first meeting, I felt comfortable, and we could discuss the project openly, which created great synergy on set."

Ok Taecyeon added, "I feel the same way. Having worked together since we were young, there was a strong sense of camaraderie and brotherhood. Although we often met during our idol days, we weren't close, so I was thrilled to work together. Our internal familiarity helped us bond quickly, and we relied on each other during filming."

Listening to this, Seohyun mentioned, "YoonA told me not to worry, saying he's a great person and a good actor. Just as she said, he was incredibly reliable and supportive, for which I am very grateful."

'I Took the Male Lead's First Night' premieres on KBS 2TV at 9:50 PM on the 11th.
