BTS's Jin Shows Unique Affection for Netflix's 'The Uncanny Counter'
BTS member Jin has expressed his unique affection for the Netflix variety show 'The Uncanny Counter'.

On the 8th, a production presentation for Part 1 'Early Check-In' of the Netflix variety show 'The Uncanny Counter' was held at Community House Masil in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by directors Jung Hyo-min, Lee So-min, and Hwang Yoon-seo.

'The Uncanny Counter' is a new concept variety show set in the Ulleungdo guesthouse, where Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye-eun engage in extraordinary activities with the guests. The show is a collaboration between director Jung Hyo-min of 'Hyori's Homestay' and writer Yoon Shin-hye.

Director Jung Hyo-min explained, “Kian84 is a unique and original character, and the combination of people around him changes the dynamic. I thought it was important to have supportive staff. I wanted to find people who could show a different side of Kian84 while maintaining their own distinct personalities.”

He continued, “Ji Ye-eun was recommended by Kian84, and I thought we could see the MZ generation through her. Jin, not just because he is a global idol from BTS, but because I felt that only a fraction of his human side has been revealed to the public.”

He added, “I thought it would be beneficial for everyone if we could bring out Jin's true self. It was challenging to schedule him before his military discharge, but fortunately, Jin wanted to meet Kian84, so we were able to coordinate the schedule. He even adjusted his music video schedule to participate in the ten-day shoot.”

Meanwhile, 'The Uncanny Counter' features Kian84 as the host, BTS's Jin as the 'all-rounder staff', and Ji Ye-eun, who even obtained a water license for the show. 'The Uncanny Counter' will release three episodes per week for three weeks, totaling nine episodes, starting from the 8th.
