Reality Check: 'Single's Inferno 4' Stars Junseo and Si-an Clarify Their Relationship Status

On the latest episode of MBC's 'The Manager,' Junseo from 'Single's Inferno 4' clarified his relationship with Si-an, stating they are more like siblings than a real-life couple.

During the episode aired on the 29th, Junseo appeared as a guest and addressed the speculation surrounding his relationship with Si-an, with whom he formed a couple on the show. The duo, affectionately dubbed 'Yook-Si-an' by fans, sparked curiosity about whether they had become a real-life couple.

In the episode, Junseo met with Si-an, along with other 'Single's Inferno 4' participants, Kim Min-seol and Kim Jung-soo, for a meal. The studio panelists were keenly observing Junseo and Si-an's interaction.

When a photo of Junseo and Si-an was shown, Lee Young-ja questioned, "Aren't they a real couple?" Despite their friendly greetings, Jeon Hyun-moo teased, "You talked last night, didn't you?" Junseo admitted, "It's the first question I get asked everywhere," and mentioned their recent phone call. He added, "Si-an is busy, so we end up talking at night."

Junseo showed his caring side by helping Si-an with an apron after she got burned by hot food, prompting Kim Jung-soo and Kim Min-seol to tease them about their closeness.

Junseo also opened up about dealing with negative comments during the show, to which Si-an responded, "You're quite sensitive." Junseo reflected, "It's in the past now, but it felt like my world was collapsing at the time." Si-an empathized, sharing her own struggles and stating, "I would do it all the same again."

The duo's overnight stay on 'Single's Inferno 4' became a hot topic among viewers, as it was the first time a couple shared a bed on the show. Jeon Hyun-moo hesitantly asked if they really slept together, to which Junseo confirmed, "We did share a bed."

Junseo confessed to holding Si-an's hand during their time together, and Si-an admitted, "I just wanted to be close. It was a precious moment for us." When asked if she enjoyed it, Si-an candidly replied, "I did."

Despite their on-screen chemistry, Junseo clarified that they are not a real-life couple, stating, "We're just like siblings now." The studio panelists were left with mixed emotions.
